Fujifilm X-T2 announced
/To say I'm excited is an understatement. The X-T1 is my all time favorite camera. This looks to have fixed every single issue I had with the first. Can't wait. Expect my review as soon as I get my hands on one.

This is some serious video hardware you can get for ~$1000. The a7s II is the gold standard of Mirrorless video right now, and this little camera stands up against it surprisingly well. Impressed.
You see that photo up there? That was taken with the iPhone 6. It's just one of a number of images released by Apple today from iPhone users around the world. This gallery proves one thing.
Check out the rest of the gallery for yourself. If your work isn't up to this level even with thousands of dollars of bodies and lenses, think about spending your time and effort on improving your technique instead of just getting another piece of gear.
A good eye will beat a good camera 90% of the time. And even then, let's face it, after a few years of evolution, the iPhone has one hell of a camera.
Today's inspiration is an absolutely stunning piece of landscape photography by Breizh'scapes. This is apparently a 33 meter tall lighthouse in Brittany, France. This is a one-in-a-million shot if I've ever seen one. Fantastic work.
Today's inspiration comes in the form of some of the best fantasy art photography I have ever seen. The work of Anita Anti carries such a palpable sense of beauty, strength, and grace throughout. You should absolutely check out the remainder of her work, and I hope you enjoy it nearly as much as I did.
Fujifilm has slowly been making inroads as a serious alternative to Canon and Nikon with their X-series cameras. From providing firmware updates to older cameras that actually add significant features, to building a stable of some of the best optics in the business for their X-system, they have done a lot to impress me over the past couple of years.
This new website is yet another cool thing that is so obvious, that I'm surprised it's never been done before. Fuji is letting you take a test drive of all of its lenses, letting you select the focal length and aperture of each lens to see what the results look like with any of Fuji's X lenses as they would look taken with the X-T1. Having used the Fuji X-System, I have to say It actually gives you a pretty good feel for the results you can get. Definitely worth checking out, if not just to see what Fuji has been doing with their stellar series of lenses lately.
DigitalRev is pretty much the Top Gear of photography, and their segments are usually fantastic. This is no exception. Enjoy!
